- Compare your Guild Fest quest conditions with the active Hell Event’s scoring conditions.
- Prepare research, construction, or troop training in advance; finish while both events are active.
- Before spending speed-ups or resources, recheck your accepted quest, the event conditions, and the time remaining.
CONTENTS
During Guild Fest, you finish research you’ve been saving. Your might increases, but your chosen quest doesn’t progress. Or you complete the quest, only to miss the Hell Event by a few minutes. The problem often isn’t preparation—it’s which conditions your action meets and when it finishes.
In Lords Mobile, a research, construction, or troop-training action may count toward both a Guild Fest quest and a Hell Event if they require the same kind of progress. This isn’t an automatic double-reward rule: the action must meet the conditions shown on both event screens. Here, we’ll focus on choosing and timing one quest rather than planning the whole week. For a broader guild schedule, see the Event Calendar Guide.
Find Where the Two Events Overlap
Start with two questions: What exactly does the Guild Fest quest require? And what progress does the current Hell Event award points for? Similar wording in their titles isn’t enough. Check the in-game descriptions to confirm whether your quest counts might gained from research and whether the Hell Event currently awards points for that research progress.
Say you have research close to completion and a research quest available. If the current Hell Event has a different objective, finishing the research now won’t create an overlap. Waiting isn’t always the right call, either: the Guild Fest quest timer or the event itself may expire first. Compare both timers before deciding to wait.
Three checks make this easier: Have you accepted the quest? Is the Hell Event still active? Does your planned action match both descriptions? If any answer is unclear, stop before using speed-ups. Don’t rely on an old event screenshot shared in guild chat; it may have been accurate when posted, but that event window could have closed.
Match the Quest to the Action
Think in terms of three actions you can prepare: research, construction, and troop training. Each takes different resources and time. Choosing one because a Hell Event is active doesn’t mean it fits your Guild Fest quest.
- Research: Note what’s close to finishing in the Academy. If both your Guild Fest quest and the active Hell Event count the relevant research progress, consider timing the completion for both.
- Construction: Completing a building isn’t the same as completing research. Don’t assume research will finish a construction-focused quest.
- Training: If you’re training troops, check what progress each event counts and when the training will finish—not just when you start the queue.
Suppose three guildmates are waiting to choose quests: one has research nearly done, another has a building underway, and the third has a training queue. The same Hell Event won’t necessarily suit all three. Rather than recommending one quest to everyone, an R4 should help each player match a prepared action to the active objective. A player without a good match shouldn’t strain their resources just because a quest appears to offer high points.
Read “one action” carefully: the same completion may satisfy conditions in both events, but their scoring, rewards, and timers are separate. The current in-game quest text is always the final check.
Match actions to event conditions
| Prepared action | Match to check | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Research | Do both events count the relevant research progress? | Assuming similarly named objectives have the same conditions |
| Construction | Do both events’ conditions match this building progress? | Confusing construction with research progress |
| Training | Do the quest conditions and training completion fit the event windows? | Confusing the start of a queue with its completion |
Prepare Early, Hold the Completion
If you start looking for research resources only after an event window opens, timing becomes harder. Split preparation into three parts: resources, the action you plan to finish, and available speed-ups. Set aside what your research needs, check construction prerequisites, or review training costs and queue status. Don’t commit every speed-up to one quest; you may want some left for battle or healing.
Here’s a decision sequence: Your research is underway and nearly finished. First, choose and accept a suitable Guild Fest quest. Then check the active Hell Event description and the time remaining on both events. If the research won’t finish naturally within the window, use speed-ups only after confirming the match. If the Hell Event has changed, reassess rather than following the old plan.
Spot resource shortages before they put your quest timer at risk. RSS resource packs are available on our site, but make sure your chosen quest is actually achievable before spending anything. More resources won’t make a mismatched quest count.
Before using speed-ups
Accept the Guild Fest quest first. Then recheck the active Hell Event conditions and the time remaining on both events in the game.
A Daily Timeline for Your Guild
Instead of expecting everyone online throughout Guild Fest, use short handoff notes. The player checking quests in the morning, the one finishing research in the afternoon, and the one training troops in the evening need different plans. Ask each player to tell the guild what they’re ready to finish, which quest they’re considering, and whether they can wait. An R4 can then flag poor matches early.
In a small group of three, for example, one player checks the active Hell Event, another compares available Guild Fest quests with their own preparation, and the third reports their resources and speed-ups. That doesn’t mean others decide what happens on a player’s account. It does reveal what “my research is ready” leaves out: which quest is it for, and which event window will it finish in?
If you set a phone reminder, mark your last chance to check the quest as well as the event’s start. A plan that looked good earlier may have changed by the time you return. Guilds that want official in-game event cards in their group can opt into LordsRally’s LM Events notifications, which are off by default. The features and commands pages show what the tool does; the bot doesn’t choose Guild Fest quests for you or verify that both events’ conditions match. Make that final check in the game.
Your Final Check Before Spending
The costliest mistake is doing the right action in the wrong order. Don’t assume research completed before accepting a quest will count toward a quest you select afterward. Likewise, don’t start a long training queue near the end of a Hell Event without checking when it will finish. Starting an action and earning progress may happen at different times; read the quest conditions.
Ask yourself four questions before spending:
- Have I accepted the Guild Fest quest and read its conditions?
- Does the active Hell Event award points for the same kind of action?
- Will the planned completion fall within the required event windows?
- After setting aside resources and speed-ups, will I have enough left for my account’s other needs?
If you’re unsure about any of the first three, pause and reopen the event screens. If the answer to the fourth is no, choose a better-fitting quest even if the chance to progress both events looks tempting. Good Guild Fest timing isn’t about chasing every opportunity; it’s about taking the ones your account can handle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can every Guild Fest quest progress alongside a Hell Event?
No. The current conditions for both events must match the same action. Even if the quest types look similar, check their descriptions and counters separately.
Can I start research early and finish it during the event?
You can plan around that, but before finishing, confirm that you’ve accepted the Guild Fest quest, the Hell Event is active, and both count the relevant progress.
What if I miss a Guild Fest quest while waiting for a matching Hell Event?
Don’t keep waiting. Reassess the quest time remaining and the resources you have ready. A quest you can finish may be better than a match that might never appear.
